Fair to middlin' of nowhere

The Holidays are here again
bringing back old memories.
My wish for you this season
is to be cheerful
for no apparent reason.
May you find yourself smiling
in spite of yourself,
to get a little mischievous
like a Christmas elf.
Drink some Christmas cheer
till you’re grinning ear to ear,
ready to dash right through
some of that darn snow.
Remember, I want you to know
wherever you find yourself
on this special Holiday
I’ll be sending merry thoughts your way.

I think I'll,
quote:
"get a little mischievous
like a Christmas elf"
...this year and stir up some mischief with the 'fam" like attaching a 'party-popper' to a ribbon around my mother-in-laws' present! Or how about a tight film of plastic wrap over the toilet bowl?

Naw, I think I did that for April fools' day.

I'll have to think of something else dark and devious.

Thanks for the inspiration Miss Lori. Whatever I do, I'll be sure to see that you get full credit!

Lori:

"May you find yourself smiling
in spite of yourself,"

Good advice.
Nice write!
