(A picture of me, icefishing...winter of 2003. My friend, that took the picture, said the aura was not visible through the aperture.) Captured, sheltered- My matter shows as data Presented aglow, By something relative, Time and distance related. Somehow it discovered me, Its mass and I both traveling, At the speed of light, squared. The fireball, as day is going Seeks to drop behind deciduous- Trees that stretch thin-digits As if to finger puppet On the sky for just a moment; But the sun has pledged appointments, And so must make a fast retreat. Just before sinking It strikes its last kindle, Firing the leafless tops With roman candle sparks That cool, Then fall in visible bubbles Of purple, blue, and ultraviolet. Descending circles Seek gravity--falling apples Linger around before Being absorbed In an aura/halo surround That I believe Protects me from my enemies In a shutter instant, The universe is planck constant, One that can't be measured- My vibrations cannot be divided Into life's fractions... I sit still Inside a domed vacuum- Warm... though the air outside Is a steady ten degrees |

Surrounded by a sun-dog. Great photo of the crisp of Winter. Here's to you and here's to me and should we ever disagree, here's to me! |

Amazing, dear Ford, the picture, the solitude of a man in Nature's vastness, the words you found to render your emotions. Much enjoyed. The sun loved to play with one of her sons ... Margherita |
