The Path of Enlightenment ‘Endless’ mountaintops emerge and vanish in the cool twilight evening mist. This silvered river flows forever through its ‘Deep-Time’ dream beneath a fine crescent moon. Bittersweet are the forest scents and sounds of late Autumn passing for all things great and small that live across the meadow just beyond these ancient oaks and pines that whisk the clouds and stars. The great broad Earth keeps turning … turning. Our transcendental quest lies only in this very moment. One cannot walk that path until you have become the path itself. --- b. e. adams/Soqwu Disgitisdi Gvdi [sometimes also an 'accidental' Buddhist?!] (12/8/2015) |

quote: An 'accidental' Buddhist, eh? Then perhaps you will relate to this: 'One cannot have an accident until one becomes an accident' My dad always said that about me. 88's on your inspiring poetry SHDP. She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast". |

Thanks again ! ... some (many?) might say I've been that "accident" most of my less-than-'charmed' life ... hopefully though, from the crucible of the past true wisdom is forged ! |

The coming of "The Green Man", death and rebirth, as I observe the path perhaps I and it will meet somewhere in the middle. Another thought provoking read, for which thanks. Pete |
