Ah Mr. Martini, You made me smile. You finessed your dark humor into this senyru. I enjoyed this with no evil side effects... ~L |

Thank you Pete for not only reading, but looking deeper. Lori Rhoden, from when I have had occasion to notice, its clear you could use a genuine smile from time to time. You know, the ones that make your cheeks spread further and all your teeth become visible. So much better they are then the ordinary, trying to get along closed lip grins. She said so anyway. Thanks to you as well Mr. JerryPat2 for the chuckle I heard in your appreciated reply. Au Revoir Here's to you and here's to me and should we ever disagree, here's to me! |

"sometimes people manage to turn a funeral into a circus". Not I, rather at every opportunity. I make it a practice never to go to wakes and funerals for people who, when breathing, were weepers, whiners or winos. Sometimes, its a good idea to fear a clown, or anyone for that matter who gazes at you with sesame buns in their eyes. Here's to you and here's to me and should we ever disagree, here's to me! |

I'm very fond of the 5-7-5 structure in poetry and you have a very good one here Mr. Martini. 88's friend She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast". |

Thank you Ticklefingers. Perhaps I'll write more of those. I've covered much of my life here and poets may tire of me. A new gig might change my perspective some. You know, back to nature and all that. But I've spent so much time in the woods as it is. It's quiet though, except those areas where the most leaves are. You know how they crunch when you step on them. But I don't walk over them much. The ground is softer there and it makes a bother of my wing-tips. Thank you again for your enlightening reply. Here's to you and here's to me and should we ever disagree, here's to me! |

Yes, a circus is uplifting, a funeral is awkward enough, but dead clowns stop the emotions. Great job. Margherita |
