No One Told Me About Her It was only after way too many years that I was able to accept the truth, that Suzie Land wasn't real. Oh, it was real enough but for all the wrong reasons; it was a relationship with a short shelf life that lived for long seasons, but when I thought I needed it the most it simply was not there, it was off in never-ever land, just like they sang in the song; "She's not there." She's Not There / The Zombies / Chorus "Well let me tell you 'bout the way she looked The way she'd act and the color of her hair Her voice was soft and cool Her eyes were clear and bright But she's not there." Trust in the Lord and do good... Shalom. JamesLee 11/16/15 |

I really enjoyed this one, James! Good story told with energy and fluidity. Your title made me think of the lyric right away. This poem did NOT disappoint. smiles, Constance |
