A prism of shadows trails behind me, as foreboding as a moonlit silhouette sanding off the sharp edges of evening - sleep eludes me vestiges of fever dreams with persistent monsters slink around windmills of my mind A streak of dawn sun at last appears to lighten the sky creating a world without the intrusion of crazed dreams I go search for solitude to slake my own loneliness. |

So well done is this poem of shadows and monsters which beckon us with nighttime thoughts and fears. ~*~ When they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

Hi Margherita, I did go to Spiritual Journey and I have my comment there also. Yes, it's time to be reminded again of what I felt when I wrote that.. Thanks |
