Fair to middlin' of nowhere

Heartsleeve leaned back
and took a drag off her habitual.
She gulped down her wine
and soon felt susceptible
to warm thoughts and whimsy.
To more enjoy the mood
she changed into something
blue, soft and flimsy.
As her smoke filled the room
she looked around at all her freedom.
Back in the day she had lots of men,
but now she never sees them.
She tells herself she’s not really alone.
After all, she has a computer and IPhone.
When she is in a mood to be trashy
and talk a lot of dirty hype,
she’ll put on her next to nothin’s and Skype.

I revel in a good tale my dear and this one of yours was starting off great until you included this, "After all, she has a computer and IPhone. When she is in a mood to be trashy and talk a lot of dirty hype, she’ll put on her next to nothin’s and Skype".

I'll move onto the next as I see this may be a continuing and/or episodic saga. Keep in mind love, this is just my take. I intend no offense.

Here's to you and here's to me and should we ever disagree, here's to me!

Thanks for the input Mr. M.
It really is better for me than all compliments. I've been away from Heartsleeve for quite a while and trying to find her again and I agree that line wasn't as in keeping with her as I'd have liked. Very perceptive of you and gutzy to call me on it.
Thanks again. ~L
