What would Jesus do? I often wonder. I wonder what He would think about the forty flavors of Christianity we have now. What would He do? I wonder if He would tell us which one is right? I think it more likely we are all just as wrong. I wonder… Would He say we are too judgmental? Would He remind us of what we had been called to do? How to love one another is what He showed us. He included the outcasts, the unwanted and diseased. We don’t. We exclude. Jesus knows that hate crimes are not all committed by atheists. Many have been cast out and countless wiped out in the name of God. ISIS believes their war is Holy while there are those praising Jesus for that as a sign of the End Times they pray to see. Father forgive them they know not what they do. LGR©10/20/15 |

I don''t know what Jesus would do, but I know what I would do. If it is impossible to have a meaningful, constructive conversation with ISIS, and they continued killing the innocent as usual, I would do all within my power to eradicate them. Just me. Never said anything about talking ISIS out of their evil ways. Never said if we love them enough they will quit. The poem has nothing to do with ISIS. B. S.? Really? |

The answers are in God's Word. Terrible things happening in the world is not new. Just some new names killing and conquering for the same reasons. If you are one who places their trust in the Son of God, I would implore you to read the book of Daniel, Revelation, and of course the Gospels. It's not a lot of reading. Collectively, no more than Roots or Tolkiens 'Trilogy'. The point is, for comfort, solace, and understanding where we are in this time and age, read and make a study of the Bible. People may "BS", but God is Truth: quote: P.S. Shouldn't we be doing all this in the "Spiritual" forum? 88's friends She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast". |

TF Yikes! Faux pas! You are right. Beg pardon. I guess I could blow the dust off the red leather bound King James with the yellow highlighted passages and refresh my memory, it has been a while. ~L |
