Where do they? All these words? Which became a vocal reminder go? yet, beyond my mind, it is now into the next. I know of dreams but wonder do they come from another source? Did they once spiral my lovers mind like a racing heart does in its murmured beat, do I give the pleasures of her world through mix’d streams of desires? might then I sleep-- sleep in the burrowed covers, in the thickest blanket away from the cold-- away from sound, and the whisper of reality. Do I grow from this fabric, like life from the soil-- first seeking out the warmth of that which I cannot see. I grew from such experiences-- mythical in my deeds’ for haven’t we all slain the dragons in the books we read-- or trembled at the choices left before those brave knights, not such that a child's mind would understand, but in aging do we see the darker notes of choice, one where you choose who dies and lives, one where you go and leave behind a now far away land, never really grasping as a child, but as a child seeking out adventure, onwards! onwards! And nearer, and nearer, till the cross upon the dirt marks its spot and we dig-- dig deep-- for that is part of a understanding, first having to dig-- then go deeper, into the realm of our being-- and float like leaves upon the surface of water, been taken to and fro, side to side, till we either sink or land of different shores’ Methought it so. |

The randomness of life does provide its own stimulus. Whether we 'float like a leaf upon the waters' or skim across the bottom once we've sunk, it's still a 'trip' for as long as we're aware of it. Enjoyed the poetry friend. 88's She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast". |
