Love Shall Stand A bitter northeast wind fills this night with snow, diffuse sorrows, and dark- forlorn imaginings of a thousand infinitely small and suffering things that Winter has forsaken; and so it has been for some five hundred millions years, yet life has always found a way to reawaken with the Spring. Why then, cannot Love thus stand … to talk against time! --- b. e. adams (2/5/2014) [This message has been edited by secondhanddreampoet (02-05-2014 06:24 PM).] |
