   The Dream of Spring

From the woodland edge
the leaves still dance
on melting snow
to the pipes of a
brisk March wind
and Nature’s sweetest
song of Winter passing,
while forest pools
reflect a perfect sky
of Cobalt blue and the
radiant morning star.
There is no other light
like this to make the
heart and spirit rise
and soar in hope and
    reclamation.
Could there be anything
more beautiful than Spring
except the dream of Spring?

We got a massive 'cold front' rollin' in 'round these 'endless' hills of 'ol Applachia, backed by
an intense N.W. arctic wind. We'll have minus 8-10 degree F. ambient air temps. and up to
minus 25 windchill factor temps. by mornin' ... piping for the blood to dance!
