have you seen the wind I haven’t either I feel the wind when it cools me in the summer I run from the wind when it wrecks devastation in the form of a hurricane there are times even when I don’t feel the wind I know it is about by the quivering of the leaves on tree branches it is an invisible entity the wind a daily part of everyone’s life comforts and frightens us friend or foe the unseen wind ©February 8, 2015 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~*~ When they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

We've been in the 'teeth' of this N.W. arctic wind ... Thoreau said somethin' like: Men think they 'know' many things But lo ... they have taken wings All the 'arts' and the 'sciences' And a million appliances The wind that blows is far, far more Than any man truly knows |

Ahhh . . . Thoreau knew a few things, did he not? Thanks Bruce, for your comment. ~*~ When they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |
