WHY THE SKY IS BLUE 11 February 2011
I won’t tell you in Laboratory Logic. I will sing you in Birdsong; I will lift you in Ecstasy; I will whisper you in Joy; I will fly you in Freedom; The sky is blue because blue is the colour of music and magic and mystery; because blue spreads our wings and lifts us up; because blue drives away the blues and wraps us in Infinity; because blue is further than blue than blue than blue. The sky is blue because we want it so.

great poem, diana, i love the final line which understate that we are what we feel, what our senses authorize us, this is quite a melody of the heart in communion with sacred hearth, a deeep and sensitive hommage to poetry, thanks a lot

Each of your words are woven so well that the picture they form is clear as a cloudless sky can be.
When over the sea, those blue skies are often indistinguishable from the surface of the waters and one may find themselves engulfed in blue...recalling the beauty of your poetry.
Always a pleasant read. ...just bein' Bluesy

Thank you, Bluesy. I am glad you enjoyed it so much - and thank you for that beautiful image of the sea and the sky.
