we're well into
this new century of ours
poems have been writ
dreams have been sold wholesale
fresh perspectives
before the growl of coarse behavior
and the infection of oblivion of ones self
we fight the critics
who has the insight of emptiness
they! who scream out the loudest
things aren't working like they should
we've been told tons of lies
shout out old one!
if you've action
to back up your rhetoric
today is the day

Even though we vote, we know those votes can and often are altered. Sad form of democracy. The word Mock comes to mind. jo
