Dipping her quill in the old inkwell, Another story she needs to tell. Visions and thoughts her mind does seize As words flow through her quill with ease. She hopes the reader will understand When she writes of the moon, sea and land Heartache and romance you'll also find. Some true and some fiction float through her mind. Emotions open and set themselves free, Creating imagery for you to see. You sense the joy and pain within her heart As ink to paper starts to make its mark. |

Lovely smooth rhyming poetry with many truths about the poetic mind exposed within. Loved it! Eric true love never looks after it's own interests |

You wrote, "She hopes the reader will understand." I think we will, for we are in a similar situation, Eloise. It is wonderful to read other poems, poets I can identify with on some level. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |
