A nut Case

Hey ... are you still awake? ...
Since I'll never get to sleep tonight anyway ...
Which came first,
the nut or the case?
Maybe nuts were created first
so the nuts could be in cases;
or maybe cases were created first,
so the nut cases could be in nut cases?
How many nuts could a case nut case
if a nut case could case nuts?

(so is this all you do)?

If you have complaints about this poem,
send them to balladeer.
because He goes to the same shrink I do,
except I go on the fifth Friday of February.

I think that the nuts were created first in case (get it?) the world started to take itself too seriously. It would be a case of massive depression if we didn't all have a little nuts in us. And if we have a case to carry them in all the better.
