Rapid Eye Movement

Well now!It’s been another year
Of, fear, and tear
A lot of hopes and dreams,
And some schemes of things
But, reality can be
Much more than I can see
Than, what I’m hoping for
Behind, those closed doors
So, I open up my mind
I search, and try, to find
An answer, to my quest
(Surely, I must jest!)
So, I take another day
To try to find some way
To make, what I might do
To make, come true
But, everyone can see
(Seems, everyone but me!)
So, as my days pass by
No answers, to questions,
“Why?”

In dreams we sometimes solve
problems we wrestle with wide awake...
And
Sometimes wide awake we dream
of problems others wrestle with,
and no one knows why.
