Distasteful words pouring from your mouth I stare into your darkened eyes Ignorance engulfing the air in your presence Of the sleepless nights and helpless cries Of the pain I’ve survived, the unwanted goodbyes Trapped inside these walls, weighing me down… You’ve changed into someone, I’m not familiar With the false beliefs of your beloved crown I know where to stand ground, I have been found Not to dwell in this hateful relationship Ripping me to pieces, confined to my bed Draining me of motivation for life All the things you’ve said, no more tears I shed For I have moved on so very long ago… You’re one less thing I have to think about So, please… go on, go. |
