Fair to middlin' of nowhere

0 posted 2013-04-03 03:06 PM

A heavy sigh
filled with content
Eyes half closed
above a blissful
curl  of smile
Visions of you
cradling  my heart
while crooning
sweet  nothings
from your
everything
fill me
Thrill me
to my
peaceful core
I sleep the sleep
of dreamers
traveling
a moonlit path
together
An endlessness
of forever
leads the way

This is deeply moving, Lori. I only hope the recipient of this poem realizes what he has. You can't write moving poetry such as this unless you feel it in your heart.

This moonlit path traveled really reaches down into the soul with soothing peace and comfort.  Enjoyed!
