Beneath The 'Toe (Mistletoe Magic) Nay – beneath the 'toe is not a fantasy, a kiss of bliss nor is it a magical thing - 'tis like 'Claus and his Dwarfs the Bunny's Easter St. Patrick's Pot-of-Gold, Goldie Lock's Three Bears. Nay – beneath the 'toe is not a fantasy, it's as real as love and heart and soul and life and something beyond you and me – Nay – beneath the 'toe is not a fantasy, but a trip to a world in all of our dreams. I know . . . for there I be right now, with glass of nog in hand. Magic is something that lives everywhere through our eyes, our hearts, embedded in our souls . . . and I believe in the magic of the 'toe.

Jimmy, your poetry so often makes me smile. I love your ability to bring enchantment to some often overlooked things. This is charming and makes me want to go out now and buy Mistletoe. Again, Merry Christmas. Ali |

Loved the way you spelled out mistletoe with italics in the verse. You are right, I remember when standing under the mistletoe WAS something very magic. ~*~ Your fences need to be horse-high, pig-tight and bull-strong. ~*~ |

Jimmy, you make me want to go back home and stand under my mistletoe! It is the same mistletoe hung up every year for as long as I can remember...It has seen its fair share of smoochin' Thanks for stiring the memories! Lori |
