The mist from the harbor is the clouds seeping through the mountaintops I strain to hang onto you in ghostly white iridescence, anonymous lights flickering off hilltops and highways we're twice shadowed moons from the craving of flowers to the reveling in bucolic emptiness the sobering truth is in the coming and going once colorful caterpillars in a womb of the butterfly we've become corks, caught on a tidlewave's sea, perhaps to unite again, perhaps not but I echo the state of December's stray sycamore in remiss of her leaves and the glory of the iced over pond regardless |

You have capsuled the ever evolving humans searching for a way to cope in a world which seems to always want to damage us. Emotion. Love.Hate. Indifference. All of the above and then are some of the transitional situation we find ourselves in. Your last two lines is proof we can withstand anything. ~*~ When they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |
