* Today in the rain I opened my eyes to the heavy skies. I whispered your name and caught you racing through my brain. I tried to focus on your smile but it kept dissolving into tiny fragments of vaporous beauty freely flowing. Every single drop of rain mirrored the most stunning radiant truth in its wholeness. You dance in every particle of matter visible and invisible. I am immersed in an ocean of love. I taste this love it floods me I feel it as it fills me as it spills over and touches everything and everyone … Even you you who are yet unaware of being constantly nourished with the only single element that keeps you alive: Love! * |

I agree that love can be the reason why we are so vibrantly alive. This was a lovely poem, Margherita. It was positive poetry even in the midst of a rain storm. A metaphor for undying love. ~*~ I don't have to eat sarcasm to recognize the flavor. ~*~ |
