All the Way to Heaven

Angel from heaven
I've been waiting for this day
that precious day
when you come to carry me away,
showing me the way
taking my hand
caring not that
I'm just a mortal man.
A man who's sins
are washed away
and as my body dies
I live and die
upon my last day.
Come sweetly and take me away
my spiritual body
will depart with you today,
following you all the way
all the was to heaven.
