RED

Carnations Red, a Bridegroom’s wedding
Farewell to the dead,
The tears we’re shedding
Flanders fields with poppies growing
A reddish dawn, a cockerel crowing
No time for life, no time for joy
A nation’s freedom, in the hands of a boy
No time to question, no time to lie
Just time to think, just time to die

Whoa, I could go on all day about this one.  The grief over youth lost to senseless wars has always engulfed me.  If feel for you and with you, if this a personal loss,  on this one.

Ah, my feelings put into words...well done, my friend and I echo the above comments.
