I've heard so many Harsh words in my time Sent a few too It's nice to have another Send a different view Someone thinking of me Sending kind words Could rekindle a hope In Gods love and loving me How wonderful life would be If life could be poetry With happy endings And constant romance People always willing To give others a fair chance Moon light and stars To guide our way Candle light shadows For our body games If only we took the time To live poetry and rhyme © Copyright 2002 Connie McDonald - All Rights Reserved |

I do so understand this lovely sentiment; if only to live in poem, sometimes a glimmer is nice though |

Oh, it's very thought-provoking! I think that poetry is concentrated life, and not every poem has a happy end. But luckily poetry much less speaks rude words. Thank you for sharing! |

If I had nothing but time And nothing to do but rhyme, I am sure I could become content Yet these days I have little time spent In the words of meter and rhyme. enjoyed yours, Gloom |
