THE BEGINNINGS
5 September 2013

Quivering in the tiptoe fragrance
and touch of our new-born yesterdays,

our todays dance,
in passion and peace,
warm in sunshine’s glow
and so very close in moonlight’s magic
on the mountain-fringed plains of Colorado
on the sun-gold savannahs of Africa
painting a pathway
far into the distance
with twists and turns

into
our tomorrows
trembling with
heart-beat promise
and bird song
and hard-earned courage
and the pens of our souls
to draw a map
together
to lead us
hand-in-hand
into our Namaste oneness. . .

Optimistic poetry and well it should be. Love is an exceptional high which should last forever. Sometimes forever seems impossible, but that is why it takes two completely devoted to love to surmount, and beat the odds.
