She touched her heart only for a roses touch a shade of her eyes onto the back of her rustic small house Small jazz notes playing with her hair like a small child's hands digging its hands into the dirt of their front yard The rise and fall of a woman never happens under a small nights stage its when a man decides to summon a shadow and slowly part ways That she finds her heart never touched him strongly enough never touched the bottom of his lip tight enough so, the ebbs and flows scattered across Tuesdays until Friday began its catharsis The silence of a woman's voice always makes a man uneasy Its a silence that we often don't understand of a story far too harsh for us to admit to far too hard to say in words silence, side by side with the nights restless spread. |

Came back to read this one again, and put it in my library. Excellent imagery, and mood. |
