In these changing and uncertain times one wonders why It has to be Somewhere someone’s something is being torn asunder Natural disaster’s survival of the fittest come and go with matters of the heart… Broken by fate LGR©5/6/11,13 |

I don't know if it is fate that broke it or more of a human problem, but the result I guess is the same. Heartache and heartbreak. ~*~ If they give you lined paper write sideways. ~*~ |

The people in Colorado came to mind. I can't imagine the pain of losing everything. Good to "see" you Lori |

Eric Tell me, how does one avoid a date with fate? You may be a sucker, but I'm a glutton. Thanks for the read and compliment. Lori |

FATE? If your beliefs go there, is not fate just a trumped up word for Karma? I think maybe we all earn our "fate". In another sense though . . . (and don't misunderstand: I'm a deeply "faithful" person - one that still believes I'm "allowed" to question). . . but what kind of God, so wonderful and pure and loving, would allow his children to go through some of what they do - Would you, as a parent, allow the same to happen with your children, if you were omnificent? jimmy |

Jimmy opening a can of worms here. Karma is still learning from your mistakes in a round about way. Good parents (if you want to go with a God analogy)let their children learn from their mistakes but try to keep them from making fatal ones. Just as I do not believe natural disasters are Karma or the wrath of God. Stuff happens and we get the opportunity to learn (even in our suffering) and then use that knowlege to reach out to others. Ha! Good (more or less expected) answer Lori! And about as deep as I'm going to get into a philosophical discussion on here. You made it fun though, as far as it goes - enjoyed. jimmy |
