Thus Cupid! you with love destroyed, The grieving lovers, girls and boys. You give them pleasure and then split The lovers with a hawk and spit. One has begone, the other cries, And shakes his fist toward the sky. Man's weakness is why love hurts so, He feels another love can't grow. Can another make his heart smile, Or is his heart hostile and vile? But he knows must have a mate, So he will succumb to his fate. Through therapy; making it right, Tries to conquer his need to fight. Although he tries to play the role, He takes her flesh, but not her whole. ©July 14, 2012 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~*~ If they give you lined paper write sideways. ~*~ |

You know I have lived this this one. It's a damned winding road were on, but make no mistakes about it... it's love that drives us. Michael |
