They will build an altar in their slow progression to cradle both the young and old as windows watch the tender yellows tumble down leaf by leaf, with loosened berries circles on the squares a trilogy of scarlets dance the rumba, court the concrete off the stonefaced ground the layered seasons joining voices, enter morning, sing the virgin's September song |

Ahhh . . . This is just precious, Emma, and that is a word I seldom use, but it was appropriate in this case I believe. . . What a natural feel this poem has. Thanks, I enjoyed reading it. ~*~ If they give you lined paper write sideways. ~*~ |
