He is my trellis And I the vine A delicate thing At the mercy of the wind Dancing flaming petals incessantly And should I lose him My fate to befall The accursed earth A blooming briar Twisted in pain Beauty Overgrown With Grief LGR 10/23/09 |

Oh boy. This one is naked and all alone within the throes of ecstasy and despair about what if. But I think things are probably better now than you thought when you wrote this poem, and that is a GOOD thing. ~*~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

Well, I'd like to tell you how it turned out but then that would spoil it for the other poem Roses. I will say that I do have more roses now than I did then. Lori |

beautiful poetry as always, I like to sit and not really ponder the words but sound upon the body into thoughts. RS |

This is lovely. Sad, but lovely. And the format of the words adds depth, I think. -Trina I'll keep these dreams hidden inside these eyes of mine until my tears fall unto my tainted hear [This message has been edited by s1nfully_1nn0c3nt (08-30-2013 06:48 AM).] |
