Upon one night when the moon was waxing and the stars began to spring forth. My nephews knee deep playing within a summers evening, jumping and flying from bed to dresser then back again. Their mother rise forth in heavy steps time for bed. They stop at times, then by her heated expression, soon their feet were tucked in. However, when she left they squirm and wiggled back into a jumping frenzy. I came in tall and calm, told them it's time to rest GO TO SLEEP. My nephew in the middle of his older and younger brother tells me with a straight face with a pout SLEEP IS BORING. My 3rd eldest sister laughed at his remark and I told them sleep is suppose to energize you, NOT BE ENTERTAINING...I don't care GO TO BED!(10:30) He still considers sleep to be a bore, but they laid in the dark in dismay. Sad that they couldn't keep on with their game. |

Yep....you know you're getting older when you wish for those naps you refused to take as a kid. |
