You know I'll be just fine
except for missing you
I know you'll be alright
except for missing me
I guess that is good for us
The missing I mean
It has a way of reminding
what is so special
about the two of us
and our type of together

You take in the mountains
and I will keep the night
by candle light on the porch
I'll take care of here
you take care of you
You have plenty to see
I have plenty to do
You get lost in the crowds
I'll get lost in thought

The time will pass quick and slow
and you'll be back home
before we know
Where I can take you someplace
that only I know where to go
That place that puts a smile
on your face
and leaves me all aglow
