Severed in pieces, dandelions collapse now, on checkered fields, failing to thrive, their wishes tossed amid the forget me knots along with the nameless And I yield to their season in thankful reflection, of the gifts they had offered, without stipulation |

A farewell only makes it more meaningful when you can say, "Welcome Back." ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

So beautiful, dear EmmaRose. I love the dandelions and as a child I always used to blow the seeds off the head watching them fly off to a new lovely place to grow again. Young dandelion plants (before the flowers bloom) are indeed one of the most refreshing salads one can taste. (Memory from Switzerland). Jimmy's comment reminded me of this. Margherita |
