My pen again has found its way
Befriending words to come and play
Enticing me to dance with pen
And start to write of life again

Amazing from where words they come
To form a thought to share with some
The wanting need that time does grow
Becomes the tool that makes them flow

It’s then we find an inner peace
In sharing what we need release
Writing what the soul does share
Without a fear and without care

A gift to hear the voice within
With love it lets the pen begin
It’s wise with many souls as friend
A blessing that the Lord did send

-----------------------

I thank you very much dear time
For sharing moments here to rhyme
And thankyou voices in my head
That fill the pen and verses wed

Yes indeed, the words inside us expect and yea, demand that they are shared with the world. Thank goodness for the Internet, we can implode our words. Your words are good ones, Rick.

very perceptive of that nudge inside that
cajoles us, whether or not we even realizes its presence at times, we are thankful it exists

Rick, I think this is exactly what writing is all about
"It’s then we find an inner peace
In sharing what we need release
Writing what the soul does share
Without a fear and without care"
Great portrait!

I see this as an awesome tribute to the muses.  Life for a poet is utter emptiness without them.  Glad you have yours again.

Hi Gale, great to see your reply again, thank you.

Dear Kit, lovely to see you again here my friend, I do hope to write more and more, often finding the time is the problem and when finding the time finding the muse to assist, I hope you have been well and still writing yourself.

Again thank you both for stopping by.

Sincerely Rick
