I am not one for gawking at lobes However these days they do plenty to 'em to get 'em gawked at Even though they were regularly ringed My own earlobes went unnoticed Until one particular time on wrinkle patrol I happened to notice a crease in mine Of all the lines I already had that told the miles crows feet and smiles This one screamed old, shrivel and scorn Grateful was I to see my mother and that very same crease upon her ear as mine And smiled to know that this new line came special from whom I was born LGR(C)7/8/13 |
