She’s a gypsy lady, yes, she is but there’ll be no movement today because the tree of wisdom has lost its leaves and stands bare in the midst of the plains. It’s only a tree, yes, it is but that gypsy lady ponders the worth of fulsome and free in the summer with no sign of the winter to come. It’s winter now, yes, it is and she tries to move her ancient brain into the planning stage for summer but blocked by the dream she’s always dreamt she remains like one comatose. A comatose gypsy beneath a bare tree suffers the glare of reality but she knows, has always known, the cycles of life attest to no growth when everything gained falls away. And yet she will wake and move again, yes, always seeking and hoping to find a “something” that’s everlasting amidst the plains of life. Helen / 6 July 2013 |

For what it's worth there are many just like the gypsy lady. Keep putting one foot in front of the other and consul the tree of wisdom. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

We don keep moving for some reason, Helen. There are days when I wonder why. Ida |

Thanks everyone and, Ida, yes, I also wonder why while at the same time knowing that there'll never be an answer to all the why's that float around in my head. |

That "something", dear Helen, is your soul. In the non movement you find more truth than in all the hurrying around. Just transform "comatose" into "connection to the pool of love" ... Surrender to love and you will hear your soul's whispers. Well written as always, though a tiny bit cynical. Hugs. Margherita "Love is the One who masters all things; |

Thanks Margherita. Perhaps I do hear my soul's whispers - yeah, telling me to move but then again maybe not. Difficult to know sometimes. Hugs to you too dear lady. Helen |
