just beyond the twilight infinite star-field tapestry moon in midnight blue lightning mocks the night thunder quakes the rocks how small our voices in the wind deep in the night lonely the path moon over a thousand waters birth and death yin and yang no matter forty years my principles unchanged still seeking truth in the wake of the storm hijacking a rainbow in escaping the world I found the world nonsense and emptiness indifferent universe hard-edge world of men fog is my refuge cosmic immensity sharp crescent moon slicing off a corner of star-field splendor deep-twilight forest silver shadows dancing I play a flute to the moon attenuated mandolin ancient Celtic tune somewhere in and out of Time my heart in melody my soul harmony music of your Love through the light in your eyes in the depth of your spirit I have found the truth of Love --- b. e. adams (7/7/2013) |
