Here is to displays of
the red, white and blue
from sea to shining sea
To the families spending
the day at a lake
And the picnics
ants and all
To the food on the grill
and favorite recipes
just for the occasion
Here's to beer, lemonade
and sweet tea in glasses tall
To the tons of watermelons
with billions of seeds spat
Happy Birthday
to our Nation
Here's to another
Roman Candle celebration
on Miss America's
Birthday cake

Thanks Jerry, I'm going to get to go see my two grown sons and their wives today. This is youngest son's favorite holiday. Just sent us a pic of his fireworks.

And he knows his way around a barbque too.
Will get to see the new granddog while there. Sounds like a good time to me
