She lost her scarf under a straw bridge
shades tend to blend
with colors under a soft palette
streaming down towards the sands old wisdom.

Abigail
Abby for short
strands under her roofs slow sigh
Washed through the curtains of her soft wooden floor

With the door
slightly ajar
slightly afar from her thoughts
towards her skins tiny scar
touched the foreground of his skin
of a nights wary stare

Beyond the church bells
through her mothers bedtime kisses
as she was a young a child waiting for the
covers to be tucked in
underneath her soft woven white tee
with her hair spread across the white, cotton pillow

Abigail
dressed before the night
undressed after a midnights sad stare
with each part of her neck sighing with the wind
to let go of this writhing pain
this bear hug,
touch of silence
that lasted
eternally
with the suns eternal rise not too far away

Only the alley,
its dark corridors
bleak thoughts,
simply stared
watched a skirt become untangled
hair spread across the black, arched walls
and a tiny whimper
simmered
lingered
until the morning unforgiving light

Abigail losing Abby
