Watching from afar now.
Watching a child
lost in those days of dreaming.
It was so easy to escape then,
to find that secret door,
open it and slip away
when no one was watching.
To hide in plain sight.
There but not there.

Cool, my friend. My memory is more of --- "you be there but not there!!" Kind of the 'seen by not heard' philosophy.
