shades of olive skin along Venice |

They met on the southern tip of Venice she took a small sip of espresso with her rose, shade lipstick on the curve of the mouth His jeans were fit at the heel brown loafers a light blue polo tucked in She put her small cup down and cheeked a wry smile as she spotted his slightly, trimmed beard graze up against the marble counter His slightly broad shoulders brushed up just a bit against hers as he caught the tail end of her heels slowly walking away Onto the walking paths that sat parallel from one another over the rivers channel Past the alcoves curling the streets shape she brushed her skins light olive tone as the lampposts flickered his eyes watching from a distance. |
