Lost Cove It was when I was younger much younger and dumber a little dumber when I came upon the cove or was it the other way around did the cove come upon me I was a crew member upon a merchant ship sailing the South China Sea the storm that night was vicious and it got the best of me Its no fun to be washed overboard upon a stormy sea taking my last breath and going under when a mermaid rescued me I remember her tail I remember looking into her face and then I blacked out and woke up in this place The place a cove in the middle of the sea my host a fiesty mermaid that had bravely rescued me. For weeks that seemed like months this lovely mermaid pampered me eagerly providing me with all that I required I fell under her spell she became the one that I desired. Then one day a mighty ship arrived from far across the sea and the Captain sent a boat to pick me up as they said they were rescuing me The Captain said there was no island no cove where he and his crew rescued me only a few porpoises and a bed made out of coconuts and me.
