You stayed back
I ventured forward,
in eurphoric uncertainty
leaning towards
the white rose of Sharon,
my petals cast upon vagabond winds,
I was shed of my lavendars
the remnants tossed
over parched over fields,
but I never was far from you,
the branches we etched upon
erasing our born again blossoms,
first of the Spring's release
in a twilight rendition
for its castaway embers.

This just took me places . . .
quote:
erasing our born again blossoms,

. . . within my thoughts of springs first fallen
