Took me a while to read this, but finally I got the message, and a good message it was. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

Thank you all. I was dabbling in Photoshop. I know it's hard to read, but it was hard to find a way to make the font visible. Then I decided I liked it a bit hard to read. I appreciate you peeking in, reading and letting me know your thoughts. xoxoxo A |

I liked this a lot, but I was expecting a haiku by the way it started. It would certainly be a lovely treatment of the thought and the art piece. Of course, almost every time I try an haiku, someone says it isn't one, so maybe this is one after all. It has the feel and the twist at the end. The only thing different, I guess, is the syllable count. Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

Thank you Lori, JL and VAS. xoxoxo Yes, VAS, this started out as a haiku, but then I went somewhere else with it. Alison |

"Brilliant colors can mute the darker shadows when they are allowed to clash" i love this Ali, because like most good writing, it can go both ways.. sometimes hiding shadow with color is good.. and othertimes using color to not allow shadow to be revealed is not, so good this was bril my friend but then so are you ![]() |

I love your play with color and shadow here Alison. I often forget that the clash can be welcome to help chase away the darkness. Much enjoyed both the visual and the words. ![]() Best wishes, /Kit |

Boy, I sure didn't expect to see this poem at the top of the page again. It's really nice to see an older piece of work resurface. Thank you all for the comments and appreciation of my play. Alison |
