Silence, no that would be wrong As I continue to hear your voice once more A Tease? Thats just the understatement of you As you always seem to be what I long for Pain, why certainly tell me more of which you have You couldn't possibly see it from my eyes Jealousy, whats that again? Oh right every moment that has ever involved you Otherwise that word never existed in my lifetime Love? Oh what a cliche' when it comes to you Yet its eternally everlasting, I've lost sight of what to do! As you invade my every thought I can't help but wonder why? Why you? Why me? Is there such reason why we keep reocurring once more? As you have always been the one that I once long for The wrath that has torn us apart once in time, Has made it clear, that I need you forever as mine How can two, that are so alike to be as one Could you believe it in your heart for us eternally done? Or is this just another chapter of ours that we must proceed For you are my light, my saviour, all that I'll ever need For you to understand how I've felt inside The sound of your voice, which causes my heart to rise A touch that once was loved, now taken for granted Everyday with you, was my life, only enchanted To know that one life can severely affect another If only to understand what we have done to each other The insanity, The madness, wounds inflicted among ourselves Is it possible in another lifetime, we'd still know how one another felt In order to understand you, I have to see it from your point of view Otherwise all I see, are the things we couldn't do You made us possible, You made everything right When all it took was one fateful night To ask of you why are you here in my life Still not knowing the answer and I don't mind Because everything with you feels right People say that love hurts In actuality, its the best feeling in the world I love being in love with you I love the feelings you've given me too Its every other feeling that really hurts Causing so much in its own disperse When reality sets in to whether I need you or want you Need is much more defined as a word when speaking of you Want is nothing less than the illusion of happiness For I have come to terms of the realm which I live But is it enough to love you, when I have nothing more to give A far stretched thought, that once again invades my mind It is not a wish, a fantasy, or even a dream That I will forever, always want you to be mine & as my questions lay in sorrow Only for you to answer Will lives ever be entertwined once more Or was everything just a dream to remain nevermore Kate |

Thank you Kit! I'm glad you enjoyed it! I wasn't sure where I was going with it, when I first wrote it,however it came out of course! As long as its enjoyed and share with the world thats all that matters! Kate |

I appreciate the compliment Bob! No worries, however I'm certainly not one to listen to rap though? I'm more of a rock/country girl! However I will say that is a 1st that someone has ever thought that 1 of my poems should be a "rap"! So that is certainly something new for me! Of course everything I write generally tends to be very personal,something I've experienced or have seen others gone through. I do like to try & write things that other people can relate to as well! Being that the most important part for me - That if a poem I write can help another person, or describe how they're feeling when they can't put it into words, or so that they know that they're not alone & theres other people in the world, that may be going through the same thing or at least something similar! Again I do appreciate the compliment & I'm glad you enjoyed it! Kate |
