Zen of Spring Though a cold-relentless wind still stirs these bitter woods on this dark side of twilight, beneath a frosty moon and infinite starry void, the mind becomes the Spring sunrise clean, pure, and bright with all the new promise and hopes of dawn. --- b. e. adams (3/20/13) [This message has been edited by secondhanddreampoet (03-21-2013 10:28 AM).] |

Spring is springing all around me down here in the swamp, Bruce. The first day of spring is deliciously wonderful. So keep thinking spring-like thoughts, it won't be long for you up there in those mountains. ~*~ If they give you ruled paper write sideways . . . ~*~ |

I've heard of having a spring in one's step, but having a spring in one's mind seems to manifest a much better rendition for me. Thanks. |

Last day of winter here in Maine with snow all but gone. Just a few piles on the edge of the lawn. Then comes the first day of spring and we get hit with a Nor'easter- 16 inches of snow! Still waiting and dreaming of spring. Enjoyed your poem! Kat >^..^< |

This Winter has seemed a rather long one ... throughout the N.E. at least ... not so much snow where I am; however a very many really 'bitter-cold' days ... Many thanks to each of you fine poets for commenting on my ever-so-humble lil' 'scribblings!' |
