A whisper of a glance
"Come hither"
as a whisper is
thunderous from across
the room.

Coquettish eyes
whispering softly,
awakening
a barren moon.

The taste of a breeze
lingers upon the tongue
as a whisper trickles
down the spine
within the currents
of a honeysuckle fragrance.

And as the candle of night
vanishes with the whispers of love;
parting is always bittersweet.

The whisper of the night lingers
in the blossom of the dawn,
as the mist of twilight
vanishes upon
the rose.

Love the way you continued the seduction by revealing verse after verse, until finally, the candle went out as love took possession of the surroundings. Great write!!!!!

I am intimately aware of that . . .

Beautiful write, Victoria. Loved it all but the last verse particularly.
