Some loves are like old shoes easy to slip into comfortable and loose tied with laces frayed and worn that barely keep them on. Easily you slide them off when coming to a brook then acting like a child again no sense of time nor cause for care you lose yourself in splashing games. Yet when its time for that long walk home you know old shoes are best. |

Great metaphors, these old shoes, LorienLord. There is nothing quite like wearing an old love which has found its true place within your heart. ~*~ If they give you ruled paper write sideways . . . ~*~ |

I was nodding all the way through with a smile and my wife looked over my shoulder saying, "what are you reading?" Then she says "yah, only when I'm Gellin" ![]() Rex ![]() |
