Eh. Remembering the bad days. vivid contrasting colors overlay even the drabness of life but can never cover up the poverty of my psyche where . . . there is not one refreshing breeze neither are there sighs of happiness or despair nor heavenly scents or the bark of a stray dog the moon is blood red and dripping my desolate psyche has no challenge to strengthen my spirit life was awash with lacklusterness psyche finds itself on a meaningless darkened boulevard stopping for a last cuppa java before trudging toward the Hotel of the Shameless Secret Walls ©February 2, 2013 / Jerry Pat Bolton |

Thank you, Victoria, for your nice compliment. I'm still eating on the ice cream today, and it has been a long time since I've had any too. I'm enjoying it. ~*~ If they give you ruled paper write sideways . . . ~*~ |

I think you are just cleaning house, Jerry, and it's a good thing to do while waiting to get to that ice cream. I only buy ice cream when it's on special so that leaves me lots of time for house cleaning. Helen |

It's in the absence of "heavenly scents" that our yearning becomes more and more powerful, till we become able to break the walls that keep us emprisoned in darkness ... Life's itineraries can be painful and you speak so eloquently about it here, dear Jerry. Your poetic vibrations are enriched by your experiences. This is great. Margherita, you have discovered the secret of tearing down the walls of our self-imposed dungeons. And, in doing so, we live better, more honest lives. Thank you for being so in tune with my thoughts. ~*~ If they give you ruled paper write sideways . . . ~*~ |
